WHAT IS THE BEST TIME OF YEAR TO TAKE FAMILY PICTURES?

The best answer is ANY TIME! Utah is beautiful year-round which is one of the reasons I love being a Utah photographer. But if you are going for a specific backdrop, here are some guidelines of when certain pictures are best to be taken here in Utah county.

If you want snow in your pictures the best time will be December-early March.

Spring blossoms start in the valley near the middle of April and continue until the first week or two of May.

The end of May to June will be the most green.

In July and August you will still have green but a lot of the grasses will have turned yellow.

Wildflowers in the mountains are usually in July.

Fall colors start in the Utah canyons near the end of September, and the Fall colors continue in the valley until the end of October.

Hopefully that helps! I am always available to give suggestions, just contact me and we can figure out the best time for your family pictures to make sure you love them!
