What to expect...​

Welcome! I hope that you take the time to read this page so that you know what to expect from this experience. Photographers are all different, but if my style and process sound like what you are looking for then I can't wait to meet you! And of course, if you have any questions, just email or call!​ My main goal is to give you quality, timeless photos that will bring you wonderful memories for years to come. I also like to have a lot of fun at my sessions, so if you don't like to laugh, I might not be the photographer for you :)

The first step in this exciting process is that we will talk before your session, either through email, phone call, or during a face-to-face consultation. We will chat about what you are looking for from a photographer, and we can both make sure we are a good fit. When you decide you want to hire me (YAY!) I will have you sign a contract and pay a retainer to book your date ($50 for families $500 for weddings). You can ask me any questions you have and we will go over all the details of your session.​

On the day of your session, we will meet on location and get shooting! I will try to help you pose and be natural in your photos. We want your personality to shine! Unless specified when you book your session, there isn't a time limit to how long most of my shoots are (time limits will apply to Mini Sessions and Wedding Day). Also, if you are booking a family session with me, don't stress or worry about how well your kids will behave. I have my own kids and have been doing this for a long time, and I promise we will still get some cute photos of your family even if they are crying :)

I will go home and edit your images over the next few weeks. I look through all the photos I took and pick the best images for you to have (the amount of images you get just depends on how the session went). I will edit these images, meaning I will brighten them, add contrast and color, and sharpen them. All of the pictures on my site are examples of my editing style, and every session is different depending on the time of year, lighting, etc. I don't do a lot of heavy photoshopping, because I want you to look like YOU! If you are going to want a lot of heavy editing, I might not be the best photographer for you. Also, please note that I don't sell any unedited images, because I want you to receive my very best work!​

Once the images are edited I will post a few as a sneak peak on Instagram/Facebook/my blog, and then I will deliver your images to you via an online gallery. You will have your finished photos within 3 weeks of the session (8 weeks for weddings).
